Blood Sugar count
Has anyone with DMII been admitted to a VAMC or a civilian hospital and was told that you could only get your insulin if your BS was 200 or above?

You would have to be consistently above 300 with DMII for insulin. DMII types do produce insulin, it is just can't be used efficiently. Wheras a type I produces no insulin. Patrick
